Shipment of purchased products is subject to availability and we follow first come first serve basis. But at the time of placing order, there is a possibility for non-availability of the product, in case the same was purchased by another person before you completing the transaction procedures.
Prioritization will be given to those customers who have chosen online payment mode as against cash on delivery, in case two customers completed the transaction at the same time. In both these cases we will inform the customer by mail and would provide the option of either waiting for the new stock or the money will be refunded back to the customer‟s account if the preferred mode of transaction was online. We will leave the option of making this choice to our customer.
Before you return a product from Charuthasilks.com, we request you to take a minute to understand how our products are made.

2.Products that are eligible for return can be returned within 5 days of receiving the merchandise. If 5 days have passed by since your purchase against delivery of the product, unfortunately, we won‟t be able to offer you a refund or exchange.
3.To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, should have the tag and be in the same condition when you received the product. It must also be in the original packaging with the receipt / proof of purchase that you receive in the package.
4.In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, you should email us a photo of the damaged product with the bar code within 48 hours of receiving your order.
5.Charuthasilks.com reserves the right to reject return from any particular customer, in case of frequent returns by such customer, which shall mean returns of more than 3 occasions in a financial year.
6.The refund of the original purchase will be for the amount of the product only. Original shipping charges will not be refunded except in the case of product damage that occurred during shipment.
Refunds (if applicable):
1.Refund will be initiated only upon receiving the returned product. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you on the approval or rejection of your refund.
2.If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 14 working banking days.
3.For Cash on Delivery transactions, refund can only happen via gift vouchers.
Refunds will not be given in the following cases:
1.Incorrect or out dated delivery address, address format including any form of a PO Box address.
2.After 3 failed delivery attempts by the courier.
3.Package refused by the recipient.

1.If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to the giftee / directly to gift to later gift it to the giftee, only the gifter (the customer who placed the order) will be able to initiate returns. The return procedures stand the same. The customer who placed the order will receive a gift credit for the value of return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
